Three German Parliamentarians visit the CMP Laboratory
(Nicosia, 29 March 2019) – A delegation of three German Parliamentarians led by Mr. Andrej Hunko, Chairman of the Germany-Cyprus Friendship Group, as well as his Deputies Ms. Lisa Paus and Mr. Johannes Schraps visited today the CMP Anthropological Laboratory.
They were briefed by the three CMP Members on the Committee’s bicommunal nature as well as its achievements and challenges. The CMP Members emphasised that all efforts are being made to locate all missing persons on the island. The Parliamentarians reiterated the long-term support of the German Bundestag to the CMP. Germany is CMP’s fifth largest single bilateral donor.
